Note: The Closet is currently not accepting donations for the time being.  As out volunteers are able to get fully vaccinated we will have a hold on donations.  We are aiming to be open and available for donations by the end of Summer 2021.

We are still working with clients through social distanced appointments, if you are in need of clothing please reach out to Liane and Imelda, 520-884-7810.

Donate your new or gently used work-ready clothing to Your Sister’s Closet or volunteer with us.

Your Sister’s Closet provides workplace-ready clothing, shoes, and accessories – for free.

Donations are accepted every Monday through Friday 8-5 (except holidays) or by appointment at:

YWCA Frances McClelland Community Center
525 N. Bonita Avenue, Tucson AZ 85745

Volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Email or call 520-884-7810 for more information.

*We have had a significant influx of in-kind donations during the COVID-19 public health crisis and need time to organize them. THANK YOU, to all of those who have donated! We are not currently receiving more donations for Your Sister’s Closet until further notice.

Donate new pads, tampons and/or reusable menstrual cups to Project Period.

Project Period is an ongoing drive to collect tampons, sanitary pads and reusable menstrual cups for distribution to women, girls, and transgender people in need – and an advocacy effort to end the stigma and mystery surrounding menstruations and women’s bodies with the ultimate goal being to change local, state and federal policies in order to make these products more affordable and accessible to all who need them.

For information about planning your own Project Period drive or volunteer opportunities, please contact or call 520-884-7810.

Permanent Collection Sites (where you can drop off menstrual supplies):

YWCA Frances McClelland Community Center
525 N. Bonita Avenue, Tucson AZ 85745

Jewish Community Center
3800 E River Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718

Products are distributed through Your Sister’s Closet and through 11 partner agencies across Tucson.

Make a cash donation to support Your Sister’s Closet & Project Period.

These programs are fueled by dozens of volunteers and by the donations of generous people throughout our community. But there are other needs the programs have to keep going. Cash donations help us purchase program supplies and infrequently donated items, and help fund the infrastructure that supports these important programs.

To designate your gift to Your Sister’s Closet and/or Project Period, indicate that in the “gift note” on our donation page.
Thank you!
